Stay at Home and Make Healthy Tuna Salad

Today I am showing you how to make Healthy Tuna Salad, This is a lightened up, healthy version of the classic tuna salad and boy is it tasty!

To start you’ll need 10 ounces of tuna and I like to buy whole albacore tuna for this because it tends to be the best. Pour that into a mixing bowl along with about 1/4 cup, 1 stalk of minced celery and then 2 tablespoons of minced onion. And you can use either white or red onion for this it’s just a matter of personal preference.

Next we’re going to add in 1/2 cup of plain greek yogurt. This is a much healthier option than your traditional mayo. And I like to add in half of an avocado that is diced up And then you’ll also need 1 teaspoon of lemon juice I like to use freshly squeezed lemon juice because it has a brighter, cleaner flavor.

Just a few more ingredients to go You’ll need 2 teaspoons of whole grain mustard I’m using a whole grain dijon style mustard Finish it off with 1/4 teaspoon of salt 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper and about 1/8 of a teaspoon of garlic powder.

Stir this all together, And that’s it!

You have a healthy, lighter version of tuna salad that you will absolutely love! You can eat this plain serve it up on some toast or make a sandwich out of it. However you choose to enjoy it, this one is pretty good!
